Music Services World ("MSW") is operated by MB „Future Clay“. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we process it, and the rights you have under the EU GDPR.

What data we collect

  • Account data: email address, password hash, account type, language preference.
  • Profile data: name or organization, sector, bio, location, contact details, links, photos.
  • Content you publish: events, job posts, marketplace listings, lost/stolen instrument reports, boosts.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: email address and selected categories.
  • Category invitations sent or received through MSW.
  • Analytics data: anonymous page views, referrer, language, country (no precise location).
  • Uploaded images and media you attach to your profile, listings or reports.

Why we process your data

  • To create and operate your account (contract).
  • To publish the content you submit (contract).
  • To send transactional and newsletter emails you opted in to (consent).
  • To moderate content, prevent abuse and protect users (legitimate interest).
  • To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).

Who we share data with

  • Hosting and backend infrastructure provider.
  • Email delivery provider (Resend) for transactional and newsletter emails.
  • Google Maps for displaying locations you choose to publish.
  • Payment or bank-transfer handlers when you purchase a boost.
  • Legal authorities when required by law.

Data retention

Account and profile data are kept while your account is active. Published content remains until you delete it or your account. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics events are retained in aggregated form.

  • Request deletion of your account and data.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
